Congratulations to Chris Rooney and the RE/MAX Preferred group. Just one year after converting his Prior Lake-based real estate business from the Realty House to RE/MAX Preferred, broker/owner Chris Rooney is opening a new office at 6100 Excelsior Boulevard in Saint Louis Park. The new location will serve as an “action center” for agents supporting Minneapolis, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Edina, Golden Valley, Wayzata and Richfield.
“After our inaugural year as RE/MAX Preferred, we are really just getting started, but I feel strongly that we offer a unique proposition in the marketplace,” said Chris. “I have owned and sold many homes in the St. Louis Park area, and with the central location and superb business community, we believe it is a perfect place to grow our brokerage with the best that the RE/MAX brand and service have to offer.”
Rooney has nearly 25 years of experience in the local real estate market. Prior to starting RE/MAX Preferred, he served as president of the Realty House, is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and hosts the Real Estate Radio Hour on WCCO 830 at 10 a.m. on Saturdays, providing the Twin Cities with information about the local real estate industry.
RE/MAX Preferred is planning a grand opening at its new location on Thursday, February 5 from 3-4 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by the Twin West Chamber of Commerce. They will also host a happy hour from 4-7 p.m. during which times the public is welcome.
