MintAppWith tax deadlines right around the corner, chances are money is on your mind. Being self – employed, you have some extra challenges when it comes to staying on top of your finances. It is for this reason that we carefully selected the March app of the month to help you offload some of your financial endeavors to a multi-tasking budget and financing app that is designed to make your life easier. Not only will this help you budget throughout the year, but it is free which means there are no upfront costs you need to consider. Let’s take a closer look at the Mint App and some of its great features:

Adding accounts:

This is probably our favorite part about this app. It will aggregate all your financial transactions from your banking and credit card institutions and give you one dashboard to access them from. And you can add multiple accounts and various institutions all into one consolidated account, making budgeting and keeping a track a lot easier and more convenient.Mint1

Creating Budgets:

This app will track your income, and show it to you at a glance along with your spendings which will allow you to break them down into different budget categories. You can choose from things like office supplies, shopping, groceries, advertising, printing and many more. Mint will alert you when your bills are due, and you have the ability to schedule payments from right within the app. If you can’t find a category, you can also enter in one off transactions to make sure you’re not missing anything.Mint2

Mint 3Advice:

Now if all that wasn’t enough for you, this intelligent app will also review your spendings periodically and suggest ways for you to save money by showing you different offers. This is the scariest, but probably also one of the most useful features of this app. We all need that reality check once in a while, because it’s so easy to lose a track of our spendings! You can also request your credit score to be displayed if you wish.
